High traffic business site for Thailand-based real-estate agent Siam Real Estate. Working with an external graphic designer Vzions of Phuket, I implemented the underlying code, including HTML, CSS, client-side scripting, and server-side processing, including database interactions.
Many of the site’s features are visible from the public front-end, a brief sample of which are: various methods for searching the large database of sale and rental properties and rendering the results; a subsystem for viewing availability and booking holiday rental properties; a login-protected Owner’s area where each property owner can view statistics on page views, enquiries, and property visits; a system for Instant Matching Property Alerts by which a buyer/renter can be immediately alerted when a property matching his criteria becomes available; a pair of complete standalone sites for the company’s innovative referral program (one for individuals, one for agents) under which a third-party can earn commissions by referring buyers; property mapping/pinpointing.
Other site features are visible only in the admin back-end, a more complete discussion of which is prevented by obligations of client confidentiality.
Awarded the 2007 Thailand Property Award for Best Agent Website as well as the CNBC – Asia Pacific Property Award 2008 for Best Real Estate Agent Website.
Also developed/deployed are several foreign-language Siam Real Estate sites: Chinese, Russian, Swedish, German, Thai

Directory index for Phuket businesses. The external site itself is designed and maintained internally by Phuket Directory staff. I designed the primary front-end infrastructure and have done a substantial amount of add-on and internal work for them, including:
- a custom click-log system that tracks out-clicks from Phuket Directory ad pages to customer external web sites; features a back-end interface for maintaining the links to be tracked and for reporting on individual links and high-volume referrals.
- a system for tracking contact-form use, including “hot lists” detailing high-use forms.
- an internal customer database system that allows sending merged email messages to selected sub-populations.
- an invoice generation system that creates on-the-fly PDF invoices.
- Google Maps integration.

I managed the migration from the pre-existing custom blog system to a more-established WordPress system, including SEO-considerations like maintaining PageRank and trapping/redirecting requests for the old addresses to their new addresses. Also, we tweaked the WordPress theme to reflect Woody’s specific needs, including implementing a custom admin interface by which he can easily set his MS-DEFCON Patch rating.
